About the Role

The Enterprise Sales Executive role is a sales position responsible for contract value retention as well as growth through contract expansion by introducing new products and services. The territory for this role includes specific mid-sized client accounts with revenue targets between $50 million and $500 million per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct strategy for mid-size, strategic accounts, including driving and coordinating executed selling and relationship activities.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of account client business strategy, drivers, goals, and initiatives and translate these into Gartner selling opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain executive relationships with clients to become the trusted advisor.
  • Account management with the outcome of increased customer satisfaction and increase in retention and account growth.
  • Quota responsibility aligned to a specific strategic account.
  • Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's internal sales methodology.
  • Proficient in account planning and understanding of territory management.
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge and focus.
  • Fiscal responsibility with regards to expense management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a professional setting, preferably with evidence of prior success in sales.
  • Proven demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Experience selling IT, staffing/recruiting, or professional services solutions highly preferred.
