Job Description

We are seeking an experienced highway engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and be proficient in design software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.

The successful candidate will assist in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects, including providing cost estimates and feasibility studies.

They will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal design, and roadway signing and pavement marking plans.

  • Capital improvement planning including providing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic and signal operations analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required).
  • EIT, FE, or PE (not required, but preferred).
  • Knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
