The Client Advocate role plays a pivotal part in maintaining and nurturing client relationships. The professional has an intricate understanding of the client's business and industry, which enables them to develop and expand new opportunities with existing clients.

A key aspect of this role is driving the RFP response process, including coordination of internal stakeholders, collaboration with the RFP team, and participation in or leading oral presentations.

  • Strong negotiation skills are essential for successfully developing innovative solutions.
  • Effective management skills, particularly mentoring and leading ACAs, are necessary for this position.
  • Strong project management skills enable the individual to effectively coordinate resources and expertise required.
  • Excellent presentation skills are crucial for engaging with sales and broking teams to understand marketplace changes.
  • As a senior member of the organization, you will have additional responsibility serving as:
    • A mentor to colleagues
    • A Subject Matter Expert for one or more lines of business and/or Industry Vertical
    • A Team Leader

Responsibilities include retaining existing book of business, developing and strengthening client relationships, establishing a comprehensive understanding of the client's industry, business, and objectives, and providing strategic planning and consulting advice to clients.
