
Volunteer Program Strategist

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of customer needs and have the ability to deliver impactful products at scale. As a Community Impact Manager, you will drive community engagement by inspecting, designing, and launching programs that motivate and enable employees to volunteer in their communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about social impact and has strong program management instincts. You will be responsible for creating and scaling a regional volunteering strategy, working backwards from volunteers, community ambassadors, and business leaders to deliver localized solutions. You will establish high-trust relationships with internal customers and cross-functional partner teams to uncover pain points and gain alignment on product vision and priorities.
The role requires a regular cadence of customer engagement to gather insights, launch and promote initiatives, and guide effective product implementation. You will manage a regional roadmap that prioritizes high-impact improvements and features, using data and customer feedback to drive decisions and tradeoffs.
A successful candidate will excel at building deep relationships at every level of the organization and can influence stakeholders, partners, and leaders to build consensus. They must also have a track record of delivering under ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and scale a regional volunteering strategy that propels engagement across 10 countries and territories in Central and South America.
- Work backwards from volunteers, community ambassadors, and business leaders to deliver localized solutions that meet unique needs and align with Amazon's global volunteering vision.
- Establish and nurture high-trust relationships with internal customers and cross-functional partner teams to uncover pain points and gain alignment on product vision and priorities.
- Champion the adoption of volunteering initiatives and be curious about new approaches to expand program reach and impact.
- Drive a regular cadence of customer engagement to gather insights, launch and promote initiatives, and guide effective product implementation.
- Manage a regional roadmap that prioritizes high-impact improvements and features, using data and customer feedback to drive decisions and tradeoffs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing product roadmaps, product requirements, or program improvement initiatives.
- Experience using data and metrics to evaluate a product or program performance.
- Experience using exemplary communication skills to present product or program initiatives to stakeholders at varied levels of an organization.
- Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English languages.
