Job Overview

The Senior People Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving organisational performance, collaborating with Executive Management and Senior Leadership Teams to provide strategic insights and inform key initiatives across talent development, resource planning, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic people initiatives that impact service delivery, workforce experience, and patient outcomes.
  • Influence workforce planning, engagement, and performance management within a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, coach leaders through organisational change, and align people strategies with organisational values and objectives.
  • Utilise data and insight to inform decision-making, identify workforce trends, and co-develop solutions to improve retention, capability, and wellbeing.
  • Lead and embed people-focused projects such as talent management, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion.
About the Opportunity

This appointment offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, along with benefits including holiday entitlement, NHS Pension Scheme, travel and expenses scheme, career opportunities, training and development programmes, access to employee perks and discounts, and an Employee Assistance Programme.

Requirements
  • Substantial specialist knowledge of HR policies and procedures and associated Employment Law and complex cases.
  • Ability to build effective business partnering relationships.
  • Excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Ability to work at a strategic level developing new business and HR solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to establish good working relationships with leaders, colleagues, and external organisations.
