Skillful iOS Developer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our team. This is a remote position that requires the candidate to work with modern technologies across front-end and back-end layers.

This contract can be renewed based on project availability and performance.

  • The selected candidate will own the delivery of major features and components.
  • They will build and ship durable, secure, scalable, and always up and running code.
  • A strong understanding of data modeling with Swift (protocols, enums, structs, classes) is required.
  • The architect must have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Fastlane and setting up deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with the XCTest framework for testing code is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to proactively identify risks and approach them with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Closely following Swift coding conventions and iOS design patterns is essential.
  • Providing recommendations on solving problems for a particular platform is also important.
  • Consider 'big picture' perspectives and balance business goals and technical constraints effectively.
  • Mentoring other developers and collaborating with teams and clients in an agile environment are key responsibilities.
  • Improving existing code to make it more maintainable, testable, and elegant is also expected.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional programming experience
  • Experience with code signing and distribution processes
  • Familiarity with Apple services like iCloud, universal linking, push notifications, and/or Keychain
  • Experience developing for multiple Apple platforms (watchOS, tvOS, CarPlay)
  • Understanding of inclusive and accessible UI implementations
  • Experience using SwiftUI/Combine
  • Experience working with emerging technologies like Machine Learning, Voice, and/or AR/VR
