About the Role:
We seek a highly skilled Technical Incident Resolution Specialist to join our Software Applications team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and participate in the scope and impact evaluation of incidents into our corporate ticketing system and incident tracking system to document status and resolution.
- Annotate steps taken to reach incident milestones to create a technical timeline within the incident tracking system and close tickets when service is restored.
- Engage, escalate, and communicate notifications as needed with level 3 technical support, management, and critical incident management teams.
- Coordinate internal technical and business teams to resolve incidents impacting client service delivery and identify action plans.
- Provide technical feedback for communication with internal and external clients.
- Assess incident criteria to determine if formal root cause analysis is needed and collaborate with technical resources to determine the root cause of an incident, providing a written incident report.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience or degree in computer science, computing engineering, management information systems, or related field. Additional experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Prior experience with incident analysis/management for software applications.
- Experience in investigation and documentation to clearly report defects and improvements.
- Advanced English level.
- Availability to work on-site when required.
