Financial Risk Governance Lead

This role involves overseeing financial risk management, ensuring business growth aligns with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead and develop a credit team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering technical growth.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support revenue generation while mitigating financial risks.
  • Analyze customer profiles, financials, and market data to determine appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor the credit portfolio, reassessing limits and exposures based on customer behavior and sales planning.
  • Implement seasonal and strategic credit projects aligned with billing and commercial forecasts.
  • Oversee internal FIDC structures, ensuring compliance with credit, liquidity, and operational risk policies.
  • Supervise key processes such as Serasa consultations, insurance policy controls, fintech billing partnerships, and interest rate governance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, supporting audits and maintaining credit governance.
  • Continuously review and enhance credit policies and procedures based on market trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in credit analysis, risk management, and financial statement review.
  • Strong knowledge of financial indicators, credit decision models, and risk frameworks.
  • Previous experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Risk Management, or related areas.
  • Experience managing FIDC structures or similar credit investment instruments.
  • Experience with credit fintechs integrated into billing processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
