This is a high-level HR position that serves as the primary partner for an APS site critical to the business. Provide day-to-day support to client leaders and colleagues on organizational and employee matters, including coaching, grievances, union relations, retention, engagement, site culture, and other HR processes.
You will guide and coach the Manaus site, supporting multiple matrixed organizations, and develop strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Partner with leaders to execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that drive business objectives. Offer timely, effective coaching to aid in leadership development.
Develop and maintain a positive work environment by ensuring consistent application of company guidance and behaviors.
Provide advice to managers and employees to promote policy compliance and ethical behavior.
Key Responsibilities- Lead key HR processes such as compensation planning and compliance
- Act as an employee advocate, supporting employee success
- Conduct investigations, gather information, and recommend disciplinary actions if necessary
- Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma with 7 years of progressive HR experience
- At least 5 years of professional HR experience with client-facing responsibilities
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for internal meetings
- Experience as an HR generalist in a manufacturing environment
- Employee Relations experience is highly preferred
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- High customer service orientation and emotional intelligence
