Key Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Auditing: Conduct comprehensive audits of the current workforce to document skill sets and identify areas of under- or over-utilization.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Advise senior leadership on key decisions, including trade-offs between hiring full-time employees versus engaging contractors to fill skills gaps.
  • Futures Planning: Identify future skills gaps by comparing forecasted demand with current capacity, informing strategic hiring, training, and contractor engagement decisions.
  • Scenario Modeling: Develop 'what-if' scenarios, assessing the resource impact of major business events like new contract wins or changes in personnel.
  • Resource Optimization: Match staff to projects based on skills, availability, project priority, and budget, optimizing staffing across the entire portfolio.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a neutral broker to identify, mediate, and resolve resource conflicts that arise when multiple projects compete for the same talent.
