About the Role

This is a high-impact, strategic position that sits at the critical nexus of our company's operations and human capital strategies.

As a Senior Resource Management Analyst, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of resource allocation, from strategic forecasting to daily operational management, driving efficiency and on-time delivery across our entire project portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business operations, financial objectives, and talent strategy. They will be able to build and maintain trusted relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, facilitating a collaborative approach to staffing and planning.

The role requires proactive forecasting of future staffing and skill requirements, as well as comprehensive audits of the current workforce to document skill sets and identify areas of under- or over-utilization.

The Senior Resource Management Analyst will advise senior leadership on key strategic decisions, including trade-offs between hiring full-time employees versus engaging contractors to fill skills gaps.

The role involves identifying future skills gaps by comparing forecasted demand with current capacity, informing strategic hiring, training, and contractor engagement decisions.

The analyst will serve as the central point of contact for all resource requests, matching staff to projects based on skills, availability, project priority, and budget, optimizing staffing across the entire portfolio.

The role also includes maintaining our Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform as the 'single source of truth' for all resource data, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs such as billable utilization, bench time, and forecast accuracy.

The ideal candidate will lead regular staffing meetings with senior leadership to present data, discuss challenges, and facilitate strategic decisions. They will ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of scheduling updates, allocation changes, and potential resource risks through clear and proactive communication.

This role is a mid-senior level position, working full-time in an information technology environment within the software development industry.
