Infraspeak is seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to drive the local accounting function and enhance our financial reporting capabilities.

This role will require strong expertise in Brazilian tax laws, accounting standards (BR GAAP), and audit requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, leading local audits, supporting tax regime optimization, owning financial reporting, and implementing finance systems and integrations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, accounting, or audit, ideally starting in a Big 4 firm. They will also have a strong command of Brazilian tax legislation, previous experience in high-growth environments, and hands-on experience improving financial processes and systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all Brazilian tax laws, accounting standards (BR GAAP), and audit requirements.
  • Lead local audit, working closely with internal teams and external auditors.
  • Support tax regime optimization, including potential transition to Lucro Real and transfer pricing considerations.
  • Own financial reporting and regulatory submissions for Brazil, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Implement and optimize finance systems and integrations, such as Conta Azul or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with global finance and executive teams to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while supporting long-term scalability in the region.

Requirements:

  • Experience in finance, accounting, or audit — ideally starting in a Big 4 firm.
  • Strong command of Brazilian tax legislation, compliance, and Lucro Real regime.
  • Previous experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments.
  • Hands-on experience improving financial processes and systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting/ERP platforms (Conta Azul experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
