Key responsibilities include collecting payments from delinquent customers and managing sales ledgers to achieve monthly accounts receivable reduction targets.

  • We collect payments from delinquent customers and manage sales ledgers to reduce accounts receivable.
  • Progress reports are provided to collections leaders, and detailed collection reports are given to divisional business partners.
  • Incoming and outgoing calls and emails are managed for payment collection. Account statuses are updated, and funds are transferred on accounts.
  • Follow-ups are done on received payments, and remittance details are pursued. Queries are identified and escalated promptly, and credit notes are requested as needed.
  • Cash accounts are cleared through transfers, and direct debit failures are managed. Banking discrepancies are reconciled accurately, and payments made via BACS, cheque, and credit card are allocated.
  • The efficiency and effectiveness of Ecolab's credit management processes are improved through participation in projects aimed at this goal. Monthly progress is reported on activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in collections teams, proficiency in SAP, and a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • An intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Access, or the ability to be trained, and credit experience related to large corporate customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills are also essential.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and process-oriented mindset are necessary for success in this role.
