Revenue Manager Job Description

We are a global hospitality leader, and we're looking for a talented Revenue Manager to join our team at the Pullman Cap Town hotel. As a Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving our revenue goals and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize Revenue: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue from individual, group, and conference business.
  • Revenue Strategy: Collaborate with the Director of Sales and General Manager to discuss and implement revenue strategies.
  • Reservation Channels: Manage and maintain all reservation channels, ensuring rate integrity policies are followed.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market conditions and trends to inform revenue decisions.
  • Business Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Revenue Strategy Execution: Develop, execute, and review an optimal revenue strategy to achieve budget RevPAR targets.
  • Team Education: Provide education and training to Front Office, Reservation, and Sales teams on revenue management best practices.
  • Forecast and Budget: Collaborate with the team to create and manage forecasts and budgets.
  • Team Management: Foster a team-working environment that promotes morale, commitment, pride, and performance in the reservations department and the hotel.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
