Last Mile Channel Lead

Job Summary

As a channel lead, you will oversee carrier management specialists and Amazon Logistics carriers' performance. You'll manage capacity planning with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Select, train, and manage specialists who represent carriers.
  • Achieve accurate data collection from various sources to support informed decision-making.
  • Forecast implications based on current trends, identifying areas for necessary actions.
  • Ensure timely communication of operational issues to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between teams, respecting objectives, limits, conformance, and information security.
  • Investigate root causes of operational problems.
  • Maintain operational metrics and track progress.
  • Be flexible in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Experience in employee management and performance evaluation.
  • Prior experience in last mile transportation and account management.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of performance metrics, process improvement techniques, or lean principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or similar field.
  • SQL or programming language skills.
