Position Summary:

We are seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for our Ads division in the LatAm region. This pivotal role will allow you to engage with a dynamic, cross-functional team, contributing to the financial strategy of our new advertising initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage both short-term and long-term financial and workforce planning for the complete ads business P&L in the LatAm market.
  • Collaborate with Ads Strategy and Planning colleagues to assess the financial implications of product and pricing modifications.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to provide insights and facilitate discussions on trade-offs and scenario planning.
  • Develop compelling presentations to summarize financial analyses and support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee financial projections and assumptions within planning systems such as Anaplan, Workday, Essbase, and Tableau.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor the ongoing performance of the Ads business.
  • Standardize and automate management reporting through dashboards and templates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, effectively communicating financial impacts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a fast-paced, analytical environment, preferably in advertising FP&A, management consulting, or strategic finance within tech or high-growth startups.
  • Proven experience in developing and refining financial reporting processes amidst ambiguity and changing requirements.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and proficiency in handling large datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and other visualization tools.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building successful relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in applying the 80/20 rule to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday, Essbase, and Anaplan is advantageous, along with a general understanding of the streaming advertising and ad tech landscape.
