Job Title: GIS Technology Architect
Location: Remote (Brazil-based candidates only).
Employment Type: PJ.
About the Position:
This is a hands-on role, combining deep technical work with strategic architectural leadership. It involves expert-level knowledge in designing and deploying enterprise GIS infrastructure and applications using Microsoft .NET, JavaScript, and Esri tools.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing complex GIS solutions using Esri and Microsoft technologies to ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability of GIS systems.
- Leading end-to-end solution design: infrastructure, application, data integration, and DevOps processes.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment to define best practices and standards for solution delivery across teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluent English language proficiency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, MIS, or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in GIS, with at least 4 years in architecture roles.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
Nice to Have:
- Industry knowledge in Oil & Gas or public sector GIS applications.
