About the Opportunity

As a strategic partner sales manager, you will be responsible for supporting sales by identifying suitable partners based on their capabilities and capacity to progress opportunities and drive consumption. You will build and maintain an understanding of Google Cloud's ecosystem, market dynamics, and go-to-market strategies for both partner and direct sales by industry and segment.

You will manage and optimize partner performance, ensuring early engagement in the sales process, delivery quality, and optimal end-customer outcomes while balancing the expansion of the local partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an ecosystem strategy to align partners with customer opportunities and workloads, ensuring alignment with field sales teams and regional partner management.
  • Enhance accountability for partner-sourced pipeline progression and last-mile execution, including CRM hygiene.
  • Drive local field enablement and activation of the partner ecosystem to align with industry and segment-specific go-to-market strategies and solutions.
  • Coordinate demand generation activities with partners through events and campaigns with an industry-focused plan in coordination with partner marketing and local sales teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of technology-related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management experience.
  • Experience working with public cloud technologies.
  • Ability to communicate fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with partnerships with solution providers, system integrators, or managed service providers.
  • Experience presenting to senior-level audiences, including presenting at customer, partner, or industry events.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
