About the Role:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Specialist to join our team at ABB. As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profit and market share, while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of a sustainable process to gather market pricing data on offerings from ABB and competitors across the globe.
  • Develop effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategies in line with the global division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.
  • Follow established pricing guidelines and ensure their application/adherence within the relevant organization.
  • Analyze the pricing structure and conditions to calculate profit reserves.
  • Propose strategic and operational pricing corrections as appropriate, for approval by the division Sales/Portfolio/Product Manager.
  • Contribute to the creation, implementation, and maintenance of information on pricing to ensure proper internal transfer pricing across local business units and regions.
  • Support the development of pricing concepts to establish and manage cross-divisional pricings, such as in-frame agreements and key accounts/industrial segment requirements, to ensure consistency.
  • Share knowledge and support its application throughout their area of accountability.
  • Drive increased profitability through established professional pricing infrastructure.
  • Act as the interface between the sales team and the global division pricing department or the Head of Division Pricing.
  • Extract and analyze data from sales/financial tools to measure the effectiveness of the current pricing strategy (revenue, margin, and volume improvement) and provide regular status reports to the relevant local and global management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Marketing, or correlated areas.
  • Mandatory advanced level of English.
  • Necessary advanced knowledge with Excel and PowerBI.
  • Desirable knowledge in CRM Salesforce.
