About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned Cocoa Bean Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire logistics and procurement process for cocoa beans, from sourcing regions to processing or storage facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality transport of cocoa beans while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics & Transportation Coordination:
    • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation of cocoa beans locally and internationally
    • Optimize transport routes and manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management:
    • Oversee storage and handling of cocoa beans ensuring optimal inventory levels and proper quality control during storage
    • Manage warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, and dispatching cocoa bean shipments
  • Supply Chain Planning:
    • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast demand and align logistics accordingly
    • Develop and maintain logistics KPIs and reports to ensure performance and cost efficiency
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations phytosanitary requirements customs and import/export documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of shipments inventory and quality control processes
  • Sustainability & Traceability:
    • Support traceability initiatives and sustainability programs related to cocoa sourcing and transport
    • Coordinate with certification bodies when needed
