Job Title: Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to lead our SA Regional forecasting efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of insights from sales, marketing, finance, and other functions.

Your primary purpose will be to drive demand planning within our SIOP process, working closely with Commercial, Supply, and Finance teams. You will develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons, including near-term executional demand control, 24-month rolling operational forecast, yearly AOP, and five-year strategic plan.

  • Develop and maintain required reporting, such as accuracy metrics and projections, to assist in the Consensus process.
  • Generate demand planning scenarios during strategic planning process.
  • Interface with Commercial and Customer Fulfillment Teams to ensure customer-provided forecasts and input are incorporated into the Consensus plan.
Key Responsibilities:

You will lead a team responsible for reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, reviewing statistical forecast models, integrating market data, and evaluating forecast results to determine the monthly Consensus forecast used to drive Supply Planning, Operational Planning, and division SIOP process.

  • Cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated Sales and Marketing assumptions.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Identify significant variances to prior forecasts for discussion during the monthly IBP demand review process.
  • Serve as the systems expert on all projects using Demand Planning software (as the primary forecasting system tool).
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business, or related field.
  • Solid experience in supply chain demand planning.
  • Forecasting and analytical expertise.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Strategic and scenario planning.
  • Utilization of advanced planning systems.
  • A minimum of Advanced level of English.

Familiarity with continuous improvement processes such as lean and Six Sigma is also desirable.
