  • Job Description:
    • Identify, value, negotiate and close structured transactions of environmental commodities and partnerships and potential joint ventures to grow and build our carbon portfolio and capabilities in Latin America.
    • Lead opportunity identification, maturation, and delivery, building strong relationships with clients, such that they become sources of liquidity, margin and structure.
    • Develop internal and external relationships and network with traders, customers, organizations, consultants, and other key players / stakeholders to support the carbon-related trading and projects in Latin America.
    • Understanding compliance and voluntary markets integrating connections between these markets to capture opportunities across market mechanisms, geographies, methodologies, vintages, contract duration and type, with focus on Latin America.
    • Collaborate on the conceptualization and implementation of new products and services around carbon solutions and low-carbon products to be offered to customers in Latin America.
    • Identify, evaluate and conduct due diligence assessment of origination project opportunities across all carbon standards and methodologies with focus on agriculture-related project types.
    • Identify, analyze and develop products for our key customers like carbon credits, carbon neutral ingredients, scope 3 claims and/or impact units.
    • Provide local market information on local market conditions, regulations, events, risks and opportunities.
    • Work closely together with local teams and the Global Carbon Solutions team and support origination, development and delivery of new businesses on both the supply and demand side of the portfolio.
