PepsiCo is a global beverage and snack leader with a diverse portfolio of iconic brands. As a Global Category Management Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and category leadership across our salty snacks portfolio.

About the Role:

As a Global Category Management Lead, you will lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute category strategies that drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for identifying market trends, analyzing consumer behavior, and developing insights-driven strategies to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead trade marketing and shopper insights teams to develop and execute category strategies that drive sales growth and improve profitability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, analyze consumer behavior, and develop insights-driven strategies to drive business results.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and trade marketing partners.
  4. Define short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans to enhance customer shopper agendas and drive sales growth.
  5. Develop an in-depth understanding of shopper behavior across channels, behaviors, and projections.
  6. Maintain shopper decision-tree intelligence and ensure category advisorships, including assortment, space strategy, space optimization, and planograms.
  7. Lead insights-based planning and strategy internally and externally, integrated with AOP, JBP, and WCCE leveraging data and analytical groups of products.
  8. Implement AOP plans reaching target numbers of customers with category management and delivering projects designed to step up CatMan agendas.
  9. Align with Latam teams in strategic frameworks, enabling implementation considering local needs, such as Shopper and/or Channel study prioritization.
  10. Generate new CatMan methodologies by exploring expanding new sales channels and influencing PBF customers to implement them, such as Cash&Carry, e-Comm, etc.
  11. Develop growth insights across channels to guide category development and support selling stories across channels.
  12. Bring insights and new ideas to Trade Channels' and Perfect Store teams based on shopper research exploring ways to increase category conversion rates.
  13. Ensure visibility strategies plan to position PepsiCo as a reference in the Salty Snacks category market, such as Media Plans, digital tools to share categories information with Customers, etc.
  14. Guarantee Brazil's exposure and visibility, sharing best practices to Sector team and other Markets for Latam.
  15. Ensure sector alignment as DX Brazil team, prioritize main roles and being aligned to 10 main PepsiCo's markets globally.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales strategy, trade MKT, sales execution, commercial planning, and/or sales capabilities.
  • Categoy Management or Shopper Understanding experiences are a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and short-long term vision.
  • Strong ability to develop and sustain successful networks across a complex matrixial organization.
  • Considerable knowledge of the sales organization structure and non-written operating laws.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles across different nature of audiences, from top management to sales FL.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Organization and planning skills.
  • Analytical skills & Strategic mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus but not required.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
