Sales Director for Sports Data Industry

About the Position

Pentasia is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead the planning, forecasting, and execution of all sales activities for our sports data industry operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with current customers and partners, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.
  2. Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate commercial terms while utilizing analytical data to drive business growth.
  3. Sales Performance: Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales process, creating and managing a full sales funnel, and generating regular reports for senior management.
  4. Relationship Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with partners, including commercial, legal, financial, and marketing aspects.
  5. Market Intelligence: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  6. Client Retention: Act as a point of contact for escalated client issues, working to resolve challenges and retain client loyalty.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the sports betting/iGaming industry.
  • Heavily connected in the iGaming/sports betting industry.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience with CRM systems (an advantage).
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and same business day response.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Sports fan familiar with basic/advanced terms.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese are required.
  • Spanish speaker (a big advantage).
  • Must be based in Brazil.
