Senior Proposal Specialist
A seasoned professional is required to lead the preparation of sophisticated, compelling proposals and responses to client requests for information (RFIs) in alignment with company commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develops compelling, client-ready text, data, and graphics that effectively address client's requests and best position the company as the top choice for client award.
- Evaluates information and final deliverables to ensure response meets client's request and follows up with contributors as needed.
- Authors library content and drives the creation of data repositories for team members to use on proposal and RFI responses.
- Establishes best practices for other team members to follow and ensures a high quality standard on documents created across the team through quality control checks.
- Manages creation and maintenance of internal intranet pages housing proposal/RFI resources and provides technical support on tools used for proposal development.
- Mentors and coaches junior team members.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex problems and overcome challenges
- Advanced critical thinking skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
