FUGA is a leader in music distribution technology, connecting clients with digital service providers worldwide. As part of our Americas region, we seek a Business Development Representative based in Rio de Janeiro to support growth in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage qualified prospects for sales pipeline development
  • Research potential clients and competitive landscape
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote FUGA's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
What You'll Do

Sales and Marketing: Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline; research potential clients and competitive landscape; arrange business meetings with prospective clients; promote FUGA's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives; build long-term relationships with new and existing customers; negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.

Client Management: Collaborate with leadership and Business Affairs to ensure contracts are drafted and executed as agreed; gather useful information from customer and competitor data; track and report on the status of proposal components.

Industry Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge base of the local industry and consumer trends; prepare and submit sales contracts; attend conferences, meetings, and industry events; manage sales process from outreach, to demo, to signature; perform demos and training of our products and services; assist in on-boarding of your own signed clients.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in digital music distribution
  • Proven sales track record and working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or similar function
  • Strong market knowledge
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport easily
  • Time management, planning skills, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-changing environment and team
  • Able to work with a Global team
