We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our Brazil-based employees and drive key People Operations processes. This role will provide operational support, guide employees through various milestones, and manage global People Operation processes.
Responsibilities:- Global People Operations
- Provide expert guidance on HR-related inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and support employees through various milestones within the employee life cycle.
- Guide and assist employees and partner teams through key People Operation processes such as hiring, promotions, internal transfers, leaves of absences, and separations - while managing and completing these actions in Workday and Jira.
- Brazil People Operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for Brazil-based employees, providing timely and accurate support on HR policies, processes, and programs.
- Utilize your knowledge of Brazil labor laws and market best practices to interpret labor laws and translate into actionable guidelines for the organization.
- Drive key Brazil People Operations processes such as annual union contributions, and support broader Brazil people programs including dissídio adjustments.
- Proactively partner with internal teams to optimize and build Brazil processes and programs, ensuring an exceptional employee experience while aligning with evolving business needs.
- Build strong relationships with external vendors and serve as their main point of contact to ensure benefits and payroll run smoothly.
- Responsible for monitoring union updates to effectively communicate and implement CBA-related obligations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations by accurately tracking, preparing, and maintaining all required reports and documentation.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- 4+ years of HR experience in Brazil, working with HRIS, benefits, payroll, and leaves of absence.
- Significant understanding of Brazil labor laws.
- Proven knowledge and passion for implementing HR policies and programs from the ground up, and enhancing existing processes to drive operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Highly organized with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, and have exceptional integrity and judgment in handling confidential information.
- Strong familiarity with HRIS systems and tools.
- Able to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Experience working in high-growth global technology companies.
- Power user of Google Suite.
- Experience with Workday and Jira.
- Experience supporting a global workforce, including employees based in the United States & Canada.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g., if/then statements, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, formulas).
