Dow has an opportunity for a Lead TS&D Specialist in the Packaging & Specialty Plastics (P&SP) business, based in the Dow R&D Inspiration Center in Jundiai, Brazil. This position is part of the CX (Customer Experience) Center group within the Latin America Packaging & Specialty Plastics Technical Service and Development (TS&D) organization.

All these activities will comprehend extensive interaction with various Dow functions such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing and Regulatory.

Key responsibilities:
- Managing technical-driven complaints (QNs) to ensure effective resolution and positive customer experience.- Identifying project opportunities based on customer and market needs.- Supporting existing business.

Main activities also include:
- Proactively identifying risks and developing action plans to mitigate them.- Communicating and appropriately documenting work in the form of internal reports/ presentations, technology manuals, knowledge management resources, external reports and patents, when appropriate.- Communicating results and impact of projects to influence decision within the business.- Providing effective TS&D support to various customer accounts.- Responding to technical questions of customers and other Dow/market-facing businesses.- Attending appropriate industry conferences and contributing data and input for papers and presentations.- Managing projects, both internal and interfaced with customers.- Understanding and following appropriate EH&S standards, policies and procedures applicable to the job. Required qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or related field.-
- Availability to travel approximately 10% to 20% of the time.- Advanced proficiency in English in both verbal and written communications.- Native Portuguese.

Your preferred qualifications include:
- Prior knowledge in technical-driven customer complaints management.-
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish (in case of native Portuguese).

- Ability to work independently and autonomously.- Having strong interpersonal and leadership skills.- Ability to successfully partner with team members and stakeholders from other functions and from multiple backgrounds.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to utilize internal and external network and understanding of multiple technologies to build partnerships with customers and co-suppliers for business growth.
