Ensure the execution of the sales strategy for the complete portfolio of ABB PAEN (Process Automation Energy Industries), the business unit responsible for serving the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, chemical and petrochemical markets in Brazil, through planning, leadership and development of the sales organization, aiming to achieve qualitative and quantitative goals for products, systems and services in a profitable way, exceeding sales objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Create, plan and implement sales strategies and business development initiatives, in alignment with the overall strategy, pursuing goals in terms of budgets and sales efficiency.
- Establish and achieve sales objectives, through regular supervision and implementation of improvement plans as needed, providing and facilitating resources to ensure team performance.
- Identify opportunities in new, existing, and potential customers within a defined geographic area and determine acquisition plans and resource allocation.
- Ensure the achievement of objectives by monitoring, providing information and reporting relevant information about Marketing, Sales and Market Intelligence, coordinating the flow of sales transactions, including leads, billing, orders, contracts, etc.
- Ensure effective marketing communications and customer relationship building, supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers and key decision makers.
- Manage costs on an ongoing basis, ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets, setting appropriate pricing and margin for sales, as well as participating in key contract negotiations.
- Identify and manage potential risks related to contracted contracts between customers/channels, monitoring the customer's financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal teams.
- Ensure the leadership and development of people in the Sales area, seeking to keep the environment healthy, organized and with qualified and focused personnel, controlling and ensuring the sharing of know-how and cross collaboration, facilitating the necessary infrastructure for the development and motivation of subordinates directly and indirectly in HR policies.
**Your background**:
- Deep expertise in offering solutions to the Oil & Gas and Power Generation markets.
- Extensive experience leading sales managers/coordinators/leaders.
- Experience with digitization projects for industry, preferably energy industries.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Fields of study in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, Mechatronics, or related areas. Business Administration or Economics. Complementary studies in Marketing & Sales.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required. Spanish is desirable.
