**What we are looking for**:
The Senior Manager, Logistic Operations is responsible for directing all facility operations and developing and maintaining processes to facilitate the efficient and timely performance with the end result of providing customers with the best possible service within the South American contries. The Senior Warhouse Manager will guide a team of 2 Warehouse Managers, 1 logistic supervisor, 1 Quality and Process supervisor, 2 Logistic Specialists and 350 warehouse employees. This position is responsible for the end to end processes for the Jundiai and Haedo warehouses. These sites provide direct shipments to dealers and replenishment for all domestic and international sites. Building up, developing and leading your team of operations. Tactical planning and optimization of our customer transportation networks. Identifying optimization potentials with your team to comply with the budget as well as guaranteeing the smooth and fast changes/implementation whenever needed.
**What are you going to do**:
Main responsibilities include the Safety, Quality, Delivery (Transport), Warehouse Processes & Cost Management for both main warehouses in South America. This positon is responsible for the implemenation of lean processes and methodology throughout both the sites. What you will do: Distribution Center functions include the receipt, processing, storing, picking, packing, shipping, as well as invoicing parts orders. This will include negotiating favorable local transportation rates with outside trucking companies; facility utilities and contracting outside facility maintenance services. Responsible for employees training and development, discipline, and safety, as well as any related activities as assigned by the Manager, Parts Division Operations. The Senior Manager develops and implements procedures for efficient receipt, storage and shipment of materials, as well as. assure cost controls and quality production. Quality plays an important role in the Senior Manager assignments. Your transportation experience is mandatory as you will be responsible to distribute spare parts to 30 different countries as well as import spare parts from 25 countries.
**What do you need**:
Master/Bachelor degree in engineering or business administration. Specialization in logistics/supply chain management is a strong asset. Excellent analytical skills as well as a structured and result-oriented work approach.High customer-orientation and entrepreneurial thinking. Winning attitude and strong communicator at all organizational levels. English, Spanish and Portuguese skills in advanced level are required.
