The HR Launch Assistant is a hands-on role that provides regional Human Resources support to our PXT (People Experience & Technology) Launch team. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement during site launches.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team, be based in Sao Paulo and help support our regional launch and expansion plans. This exciting role primarily exists to ensure a frustration and defect-free Day 1 experience for employees.

The role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead and to meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests. Tasks will vary in volume and complexity of the projected launches in region and will include the following: internal auditing, reporting and connecting with vendors and stakeholders to provide updates on projects and processes. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders (inside and outside Amazon) is important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly.

The HR Launch Assistant will support Fulfillment Centers, Amazon Transportation Services, and Amazon Logistics (AMZL) launches through tracking individual and regional level progression of the completion of HR playbook tasks as well as providing support for post-launch actions to ensure new buildings have a positive employee experience.

This role will be in contact with different internal stakeholders such as Launch, Procurement, Start Up, with the purpose to ensure that all the engagement spaces fulfill with the standard requirements.

Responding quickly and accurately to PXT Launch related questions from stakeholders regarding in-progress and upcoming launch projects.

Work with local teams to execute on their vision for launch celebration activities.

Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive tasks and ensure required actions are completed in a timely manner.

Understand and execute post-launch support mechanisms to collect metrics related to New Site Culture Scorecard and highlight to PXT Launch PM any data theme to provide sites with process improvement support.

Before to Day1 work with procurement (Launch Procurement where applies) and Start Up (where applies) to follow up on items that need to be included on each engagement space/area.

During Away Team process, is critical to follow up with Assimilation Team, local HR and Host Manager to prevent employee experience defects.

Eventually travels during the year.
- Experience across Human Resources areas including HR tech initiatives, Talent Acquisition, HR services, Employee Relations, L&D, Talent and Performance Management, Payroll Systems, HRIS, preferably supporting Operations business areas.
- Experience in a fast paced, operational environment is desired.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
- Able to processes data into systems per standard operation practices.
- Quick and accurate responses to customers using standard templates.
- English and Portuguese verbal and written fluency.
