**Basic Qualifications**
**Education**:University degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Administration, Marketing and Information Technology
**Experience**:3+ years of field experience working with dealers and customers in sales, after sales, rental, used, product or marketing consultant.
**Language**:English pre-advanced.
**Travel**:up to 60%
**Behavioral skills**:Initiative; Leadership; Good judgement; Proficiency in data analysis and communication skills; Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional peers while maintaining an enterprise perspective; Courage and emotional intelligence; Intellectual curiosity.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Construction/Mining/Forestry, equipment Industry experience and RUN concept.
- Experience utilizing GCSS, BIC, Tableau, CPIs, SIS Web, SIMSi and Warranty.
- Spanish Intermediate
- S&OP and velocity background

**Job Profile / Activities**:
- The key role of this assignment is to move from learning and assisting others to fully contributing within an industry. The incumbent hones skills as a sales and service liaison among dealers, customers and other Caterpillar personnel. Also becomes increasingly familiar with the company’s processes, systems and methodologies. A more senior representative and the supervisor/manager only generally direct work. Decisions made by this position are more complex and have greater risk issues than those associated with the less experienced representatives. Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, considering alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions and developing greater communication skills.
- Key accountabilities include machine, work tools and parts sales forecast, as well as development and implementation of local marketing strategies. Assist Cat Dealers in developing and implementing customer solutions including marketing plans, sales coverage, merchandising programs, product value needs and pricing issues. Key enabler of this position is to grow product & services sales thru increased participation in business opportunities. This will result in a higher product population and downstream future revenue sales and profitability. This position includes the understanding of various profit streams and generating profit throughout the customer and product lifecycle.
- This position is the sole owner of after-sales customer advocacy and is fully empowered to use their entrepreneur zeal to determine best actions to balance enterprise, dealer and customer needs for the industry segment. This position is responsible to build and maintain partnerships with end users via focus on customer satisfaction, by ensuring fair-value and regular post-sale customer contact in concert with dealer personnel. Determine customer satisfaction climate, proactively resolve issues, and provide conflict and problem resolution as required.
- The position assists with product problem management, supports/develops dealer post-sale customer contact strategy and manages warranty/goodwill administration. Regularly interface with dealers and customers to minimize the commercial impact of customer complaints, ensuring customers receive fair-value and promoting additional customer touch points and future sales. Focus on complaint velocity and problem resolution in all work streams.
Incumbents, along with their manager, will direct their development and continual learning through experience and staying abreast of technology changes.
