About The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to take the position as a Compliance Analyst based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This role will report to the Head of Compliance CorSo Americas and closely interact with other compliance colleagues in the Latin America (LATAM) region to support in managing compliance risks. This job is ideal for an ambitious individual who is looking for a challenge and has an interest in working in a dynamically changing international environment.

The Opportunity:

- Support the Head of Compliance CorSo Americas in developing, managing and executing Compliance strategies and program in Brazil and LATAM.
- Promote a strong culture of compliance and integrity.
- Provide compliance guidance to clients (implementation of policies, business decision evaluations, project support, best practice processes and controls).
- Assess and report compliance risk exposure of clients, businesses and countries.
- Monitor, analyze, and assess regulatory risks and changes to ensure local requirements are adhered to and adequately mitigated.
- Identify, analyze incidents to determine root causes, report, and provide remediation recommendation.
- Support in developing and maintaining local policies in coordination with global policy framework and support development of global policies.
- Monitor local processes & controls that address compliance risks in coordination with the global framework
- Perform background researches on entities and/or individuals utilizing LexisNexis for adequate Bridger ITC/Sanctions and AML alert resolutions.
- Develop and deliver local trainings in coordination with global team.
- Perform detailed risk assessments in coordination with other Compliance colleagues.
- Provide support to implement new policies and guidelines in business processes including inclusion of risk and controls in self assessments.
- Receive, identify and report issues, losses & incidents and provide remediation recommendations.
- Support Assurance in performance of investigations.
- Provide support for the Integrated Assurance Framework working in close collaboration with Group Internal Audit and Operational Risk Management.

About The Team:
Compliance has a dual role as an enabling and governance function as mandated by the Group Audit Committee. The Compliance Team provides support in the execution of the Compliance organization's responsibilities as defined by the Swiss Re Compliance Charter and in accordance with all existing regulations, standards and applicable laws. We have strong client centricity with dedicated Client facing Compliance teams as well as the Subject Matter Experts who are the specialists for key Compliance Risks and activities.

About You:

- University Degree in law or business.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of legal, compliance, audit or risk management experience, preferably in an insurance or financial services company.
- Strong understanding and experience with insurance regulations and requirements. Stay educated and informed on regulatory changes and assess the impact to the business.
- Strong analytical skills, pragmatic thinking, good judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects parallel and coordinate complex assignments across multidisciplinary teams and multiple jurisdiction.
- Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- Great energy, capable of adopting multiple roles simultaneously.
- Strong written and spoken Portuguese, English and Spanish Language skills required.
