WHAT IS THE ROLE?
The Data Center Segment Manager (SM) is a leadership role part of the E&I (Energy and Industry) regional team. As an SM, you will focus on the Data Center Segment for the Latin America region and a select portfolio of Regional Accounts (mainly Owners) important for Hilti business. You will create a strategy and lead its execution to drive and grow the segment to increase adoption of Hilti solutions. You will also coordinate a regional team associated with these account(s) & segment.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
As a Segment Manager, you will be:
- Accountable to develop the LATAM regional accounts (mainly Owners, EPCs) operating in the Data Centre business through account standardization, project specification, sales development (direct or indirect) and multi-level relationship management in a view of increasing Hilti share of wallet.
- Accountable for development of the overall segment strategy in Latin America as well as the assigned accounts, leading its implementation regionally through Hilti counterparts (direct/indirect leadership).
- Owner of regional project pipeline and proactive build-up segment capture teams of Hilti to drive the aligned focus projects and increase share of wallet.
- Responsible for bringing market intelligence inputs to the global & regional teams to confirm and/or update corporate segment strategies.
- Focused on project pipeline irrespective of project and sales location.
- Acting as the single owner of Data Center segment and assigned accounts, through effective communication and leadership across the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or related areas (MBA in business plus)
- Proven experience (direct/indirect) in the Datacenter segment and in the main selected accounts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development (regional/international plus) and/or sales of engineered products/solutions in the Datacenter segment.
- Portuguese Speaker and Advanced English mandatory
- Spanish speaker is highly desirable.
- Ability to identify business opportunities in Data Center segment.
- Communication, Influence and stakeholder management skills.
- Long-Term Strategic Thinking & Conceptual skills.
- Senior relationship management & Networking.
- Project management capabilities.
- Availability to travel abroad.
