**_ ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:_**

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for promoting SITA’s for Aircraft products and services. The position is based in Brazil to support the South and Central America region. In this dynamic role, you will drive business growth, deepen customer relationships and help transform the way airline operate. You will work closely with cross-functional team - Product, Marketing, and Engineering - to bring cutting-edge aviation solutions to market and ensure customer success.

**_ WHAT YOU WILL DO:_**
- Drive commercial growth of SITA airlines solutions by identifying and developing key prospects within the assigned territory. This is a commercial role, but preference will be given to technical background, while commercial support will be provided by existing business development managers in the team.
- Partner closely with colleagues from Product, Marketing and Engineering on promoting SITA For Aircraft services to both existing and new customers
- Lead and coordinate the entire sales lifecycle - from discovery to demos, trials, proposal development and closing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and local partners at key industry events
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitors strategies and regional developments.
- Coordinate responses to RFPs and other formal customer procurement processes as needed.
- Provide customer insights and market feedback to Product Teams to influence roadmap and refinement of the solution’s value proposition
- Report regularly on sales activities and pipeline progress to internal stakeholders.
- Identifying customer needs/drivers and providing feedback about requirements, issues and challenges to drive the market

**Qualifications**:

- EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree/MBA preferred
- 7+ years relevant experience in the aviation industry, ideally with an airline or airline solution provider (e.g air-to-ground communications, navigation, data and platform solution for aviation or similar technologies).
- 5+ years proven success in generating revenue growth in a sales and/or business development role
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and good proficiency in English
- Available for traveling in the region for 50% or more of the time
- Commercially minded, driven by results
- Experience of interfacing directly with senior levels of management internally and externally
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to simplify complex technical consepts for diverse audience.
- Sales and negotiation skills with proven ability to identify, pursue, and close business deals.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

- Previous experience as a pilot or deep operational knowledge of airline operations
