Yalo is a fully remote, Series C, startup that brings Conversational Commerce to the biggest enterprise companies in LATAM and other emerging markets. Conversational Commerce extends digital commerce into what, for many, is a strongly preferred but underserved channel: messaging. Yalo makes digital commerce both more accessible - unlocking access to millions of users who "live in" messaging apps, and who may not have convenient access to desktop web or high-bandwidth mobile internet - and more engaging by combining the best of interactive chat experiences and transactional efficiency.
As Sr. Product Manager for our Data teams, you will plan, build, and maintain Yalo's data infrastructure to ensure increased data accessibility, stability, and precise insight generation, allowing Yalo's customers, partners, and internal teams to get the highest possible value from our data.
You will also work with internal teams to develop, launch, and manage innovative new Data and Machine Learning-based products, dashboards, internal tools and other capabilities that help drive revenue and customer engagement in alignment with customer needs and company goals.
**What are the activities of a Sr. Product Manager?**
- Own all product management aspects of a portfolio of data tools and products aimed at making sure our customers, partners, and internal teams can easily leverage Yalo's data to achieve their goals.
- Gain a deep understanding of what makes Yalo's customers successful and how data and analytics play a role in achieving their goals.
- Understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders to create and launch data-based solutions, dashboards, internal tools, and the occasional ML model, while developing and maintaining a state of the art data infrastructure.
- Collect and analyze feedback from users, customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to shape requirements, features, and products - both with your squads or alongside other product teams.
- Track and communicate issues, risks, and mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Serve as a spokesperson and evangelist for the Data & Analytics teams.

- You have 3-5 years of proven work experience in Product Management or as a startup founder building data or analytics-based products.
- You have a proven track record of managing all aspects of successful data and analytics products throughout their lifecycle, working with agile methodology.
- You have a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in data-based tools, infrastructure, and products.
- You have a demonstrated aptitude for digging deep into all kinds of data (user, financial, operational), thinking from first principles, and reaching data-informed hypotheses and conclusions.
- You're a self-starter who thrives and can focus on driving impact in a fast paced & ambiguous environment.
- You're a precise and effective communicator with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- You're results oriented and you enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute and deliver on complex projects.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
**The following skills and experience are a super plus**:
- Your PM experience comes from a B2B enterprise SAAS background.
- You come from a technical background building data infrastructure or products yourself.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
