**About the job**:
The Legal Investigations Support (LIS) team manages requests for data received from government agencies, courts, and parties in civil litigation, processing them through internal tools based on complex internal policy and workflows. We aim to strike the best balance between legal compliance, Google’s values and policies, and users' rights, in order to improve the law and reduce risk.
As a Vendor Operations Manager for the Legal Investigations Support (LIS) team, your mission will be to hold vendors and partners accountable for meeting operational goals through governance and metrics refinement, ensuring Google remains an effective data custodian in compliance workflows. When operational problems arise, you will lead the root cause analysis and monitor progress of follow-up actions.
You will own quarterly planning for LIS extended workforce needs across all Google Brazil workflows, and contribute to LIS global annual planning. In this role, you will work with the LIS Lead to define business needs in light of operational milestones and workflow priority. You will be the liaison between the team and partners, supporting various workflows.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage relationships with vendors and partners, holding partners accountable to operational goals and support them for success.
- Lead partners through critical changes, including workflow adoption and policy and tooling changes that result from shifts in the legal landscape.
- Drive operational excellence in vendor and partner management, including metrics improvement, process efficiency, supplier diversity, agent quality, and overall value across the operation. Manage cross-team extended workforce initiatives in partnership with the LIS International Vendor Lead.
- Utilize robust program management expertise when tracking existing and launching workflows. Work with project trackers, responsibility assignment matrix (RASCI) charts, and glide paths, in addition to structured communications that drive accountability and clarity across the program.
- Be well-versed in policies and procedures for workflows.
