Business Development Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Development professional to contribute to our team's success.The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing business opportunities by establishing direct communication with industry leaders.Key Responsibilities:Conduct high-volume outreach via phone calls, email, and other channels to build and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers.Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities by gathering information during calls and assessing alignment with company objectives.Develop and maintain professional networks with business owners, fostering trust and interest in strategic partnerships.Maintain accurate, real-time records of outreach efforts and contact details within our CRM system.Collaborate with the marketing and acquisitions teams to develop targeted outreach strategies, messaging, and follow-up campaigns.Track and report on outreach activity, engagement metrics, and pipeline development to measure performance and optimize calling strategies.Requirements:Strong Communication Skills: confident and persuasive verbal and written communication abilities.Professional Presence: friendly, confident, and capable of building rapport quickly with business owners, maintaining a polished tone in all interactions.Self-Motivated & Organized: proactive and results-driven, with the ability to meet outreach and conversion goals, strong organizational skills for managing and prioritizing a large contact list.Tech Proficiency: familiar with tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and CRM systems, comfortable using phone systems and professional messaging platforms.Analytical Mindset: interested in understanding business models, valuation drivers, and deal flow processes.Continuous Learner: open to feedback and eager to refine outreach and relationship management skills.This is a full-time remote position offering competitive compensation and benefits, including a base salary plus performance-based incentives tied to individual and company achievements.Professional growth opportunities in business development, private equity, and deal sourcing are also available, supported by access to internal learning resources.
