Regional Operations Manager, Growth Markets Latam

**About the Role**
The Growth Markets team is a new team within the Rides LatAm Marketplace organization, whose main objective is to expand and evolve key strategic initiatives to improve Uber's competitive position and Marketplace across the longtail of markets LatAm, while improving Uber's sustainability model.
As a Regional Marketplace & Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the marketplace, pricing and incentives strategy for our Growth Markets products and strategies across LatAm, running large investments, supervising the Growth Markets business performance in the region and executing marketplace & business analysis for continuous improvement of our Programs.
This role requires strong intuition for business, as well as analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
You will work closely with our Marketplace leadership team, regional operations and advanced analytics stakeholders.
- Outline, implement and manage Growth Markets' pricing and incentives strategies & experiments across LatAm
- Build and supervise key metrics to ensure business performance and investments efficiency & accuracy
- Drive data analysis and experiments to find opportunities to grow the ride's business in LATAM, increasing riders and drivers engagement with the platform through effective incentives and pricing strategies
- Growth Markets competition monitoring and analysis
- Coordinate projects with our cross-functional teams to improve processes and tools, according to the overall Growth Markets strategy and budget
- Create dashboards and reports to regularly communicate experimental results and ad-hoc deep dives, and monitor benchmarks to support partners' decision making process
- Build and maintain close relationships with local and global partners, assertively communicating and presenting ideas, findings and insights to assist and guide the decision making process
**Basic Qualifications**
- Quantitative Bachelor's degree (engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, physics, statistics, or similar field)
Experience with SQL and a passion for data needed
- Statistical background and experience crafting experiments is a plus
- Experience with dashboarding/data visualization (i.e. Tableau, Google DataStudio, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar)
- Data driven mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation
- Passion for solving complex, unstructured real-world problems with qualitative and quantitative data
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and communicating data & recommendations to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans and recommendations
- Experience working closely and presenting effectively with internal and external partners in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
- English proficiency
**Bonus Point**
- Relevant experience in tech/startup or entrepreneurship
- R/Python or other programming language is a plus
- Understanding of statistical techniques and ability to employ stats in solving business problems
