What You'll Bring:

Have significant Business Development/Product executive experience with C-level senior leadership relationships working at or with (i.e., selling to) the leading Brazilian MNOs. Experienced with large, multi-year SaaS or cloud solution contracts is desired. Preferably experienced in preventing fraud and scam communications such as spoofed calls, unwanted robocalls, and robotexts. Preferably have some B2B business development experience, working with midmarket and enterprise businesses is good-to-have. Experienced working in a matrixed organization in close partnership with product management for an organization delivering complex and technical products or services would be a plus. Have a good blend of business, P&L understanding and technical savvy. Exhibit a proven track record to deliver and grow in a collaborative environment, with no or limited direct reports to start with, and recommend an effective sales and support model for these solutions after initial evaluation. Command a solid understanding of local market dynamics that impact the Trusted Communications Solutions product portfolio and GTM strategy; evolving privacy policy and regulation, regulatory climate, competition, etc. Work closely with country as well as global leadership to ensure delivery of best-in-class enterprise communications solutions.

TransUnion’s Trusted Communications Solutions portfolio aims to transform the call experience by restoring trust in communications and improving engagement. This is accomplished by blocking fraudulent calls, assuring customers calls have been authenticated, and displaying added context including caller name, call reason, and brand logo. Adoption of the Trusted Call Solutions portfolio is expanding globally with deployments in the U.S., Canada, France, Brazil, and more in development.

The Business Development Director, Trusted Communications Solutions (TCS) is responsible for defining and executing the market strategy for TransUnion’s telecommunications fraud prevention, call authentication and identity solutions in Brazil. The Business Development Director will collaborate closely with the Global Solutions team (in Brazil) and the TCS team (in the U.S.) to:

Leverage their in-depth knowledge of Brazil’s telecommunication ecosystem and senior executive relationships at the major Brazilian Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to expand TransUnion’s Global Solutions in Brazil. Develop business proposals including financial feasibility analyses to evaluate and realize opportunities and partnerships. Own the regional go-to-market strategy development and execution. Provide market insights, emerging critical client needs, and product feedback. Develop and deepen relationships with key stakeholders in the Brazilian telecommunications ecosystem including MNOs, industry and government organizations, and strategic partners. Develop business development strategy in collaboration with the Global Solutions leaders. Actively drive the business development efforts including pre-sales and the procurement process of the MNOs, as well as pre-sales and contracting with enterprise clients. Significant external focus to establish TransUnion as a thought leader in the Brazilian telecommunications fraud and identity ecosystem with MNOs (i.e., Claro, TIM, Vivo), large enterprises (e.g., financial institutions), industry entities (i.e., ABR Telecom), regulatory entities (i.e., Anatel). Collaborate with legal, compliance and privacy teams to ensure our products are delivered in a privacy conscious and compliant manner. Develop robust cross-functional relationships within TransUnion’s matrixed organization to accelerate evaluation and launch of new solutions. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
