Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for a Key Account Customer (LASA) / Proximity / Convenience / Pharma.
  2. Manage and supervise the relationship with Central Purchasing of Drugstores, Convenience Stores, and Proximity clients organizations to negotiate and sign contracts and develop sales.
  3. Support the Customer Manager Channel in defining sales strategies (targets, programs, commercial initiatives, and promotional policies) for the Drugstores, Convenience Stores, and Proximity clients.
  4. Sales Strategy: Propose objectives, sales strategies, sales conditions, and action plans for KA Customer. Identify and propose opportunities for business development and growth for Drugstores, Convenience Stores, and Proximity clients.
  5. Activities Planning and Control: Manage the proper application of retail prices and sales conditions of the assigned clients. Participate in the forecast process to ensure compliance with company guidelines for dispatching priority, transport planning, and freshness management. Ensure proper credit management according to defined guidelines, liaising with Finance to resolve issues.
  6. Client Development: Accountable for achieving sales objectives for Drugstores, Convenience Stores, and Proximity (Oxxo and DIA) clients. Define commercial priorities according to Trade Marketing plans (pricing, promotional projects, display activities). Set growth targets for key clients and monitor client performance, highlighting gaps and causes. Define client plan guidelines (sales target by area, profit, timing, pricing, promotion, events). Design and implement solutions to specific performance issues (new initiatives, additional events, pricing, stock, and service level). Promote projects and partnership initiatives with Drugstores, Convenience Stores, and Proximity (Oxxo and DIA) clients.
  7. Negotiation: Ensure proper negotiation management and participate directly in key situations (contract signing, conflict management, etc.). Guarantee compliance with commercial policies for Drugstores, Convenience Stores, and Proximity clients.
  8. Relationships Management: Supply information to management concerning sales activities and plans in the Country. Maintain country contact to enhance knowledge of the marketplace.
  9. Budget Management: Ensure proper management of the budget in line with business objectives. Propose sales volume budget with the Field functions. Propose forecasts of commercial and assigned structure costs. Accountable for compliance with spending guidelines, monitoring performance.
  10. Strategy: Develop the channel long-term strategy based on RTM, Commercial policy, execution programs, and Sales Structure.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Completed higher education; desirable Postgraduate degree.
  2. Advanced English / Basic Spanish.
  3. Proven experience in the commercial area with direct sales.
  4. Desirable courses related to Finance Management for Sales.
  5. Leadership and presentation skills and techniques.
