Strategic Development Manager Position We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development Manager to provide services to companies within the Perseus Group. The Perseus Group is an Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc., a Canadian-based publicly held company with over 6,000 employees across 70+ software business units operating in 12+ industry verticals and located in over 40 offices worldwide. As a Strategic Development Manager, you will be responsible for building strong strategic relationships that lead to sourcing current and future M&A opportunities for the Perseus Group. You will work closely with software company decision-makers, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals to establish meaningful connections that ultimately drive successful acquisitions. The role involves developing and managing an M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM, creating market maps, and qualifying M&A opportunities with efficiency. You will also be responsible for allocating leads accurately within portfolio verticals, effectively qualifying opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel, and maintaining focus for Portfolio Managers of the business units. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate advanced verbal and written communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to speak confidently with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals. You must also be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work variable hours with a sense of urgency. This role requires occasional in-person travel, which may include Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and/or Peru, and can primarily be performed remotely. ],
