Sales Account Manager

We are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager for our office in Brazil .
In this role, you will build and maintain client relationships, develop long-term trust, and manage post-sales activities, ensuring smooth onboarding, adoption, and contract renewals. You will collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and support teams to drive customer success.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Identify sales opportunities in the Public Safety sector (Police and other government agencies)
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Police and Public Prosecutor's Offices
- Present Cognyte’s data analysis and security solutions, tailoring presentations to client needs
- Prepare and negotiate sales proposals and contracts
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery
- Create and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
- Track project progress to meet deadlines and costs
- Define and monitor sales targets aligned with business objectives
- Report to the Brazilian Business Unit on activities, budgets, and business risks
For that mission you’ll need:
- Based in São Paulo – SP.
- Availlable to travel 60% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in security technology or software
- Established relationships in Brazil's Public Safety sector (Military and Civil Police, Public Prosecutor's Office)
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Experience with government sales and regulations (e.g., Laws 8666 and 14.133, PPPs)
- Familiarity with sales processes like Meddic or SPIN
- Fluent in English
