We are looking for a professional to join us as a Commercial Manager – Foreign Trade, responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the company's foreign trade operations, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, efficiency in import and export processes, and the maximization of commercial results in international markets. Ensures the achievement of goals within deadlines and quality standards defined by the company.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:


- Develop import and export strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.


- Manage customs procedures, international documentation, and special trade regimes.


- Negotiate with suppliers, clients, and international agents.


- Monitor performance indicators and propose process improvements.


- Ensure compliance with national and international trade regulations


- Coordinate the team of foreign trade analysts and assistants.


- Collaborate with departments such as logistics, tax, procurement, and legal.


- Support and guide the preparation of the department’s budget.


- Use people management and integrated management tools to ensure team development and continuous process improvement.


- Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with clients, suppliers, the community, and public and private entities.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or any field related to administration with a commercial profile.

Experience:

  • Commercial experience in commoditiies in mining sector, preferably copper and gold.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in Foreign Trade (Import / Export processes), focusing bulk, break bulk vessels, project cargoes.
  • Experience in negotiating mining sales contracts.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of Foreign Trade and negotiation, including:
  • Export matters in the countries we negotiate.
  • Import matters.
  • Negotiation – in different levels and different suppliers and different cultures.
  • Internal Logistics within Brazil (trucks, ports, airports, etc.).

Languages:

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (Brazilian) is mandatory, both written and spoken.
  • Spanish – desirable, in communication.
