Customer Solutions Managers or CSMs engage directly with customers and help them realize the strategic and economic benefits of cloud adoption.
A CSM has deep understanding of customer's strategic priorities and business objectives. Works with key stakeholders to define and execute complex, critical, or high-value journeys.
As a Sr Manager for CSMs you should have a strategic focus, yet retain an appropriate level of hands-on management.
You are responsible for establishing the right team structure and overall technology, business, and program strategy to meet long-term customer needs.
You provide guidance on complex customer change-management opportunities and adoption efforts that solve significantly complex or endemic business and technical problems.
You define standards of excellence and drive your team(s) to create and adopt best practices across multiple customers. You establish and regularly review business, performance, and operational metrics.At AWS we value critical thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.

o Lead a high-performing team, helping our talent develop and grow
o Remove roadblocks for the team meanwhile actively managing results for the organization
o Understand customer's strategic goals and define how the CSM team contributes to them
o Develop trust-based, long-term strategic relationships with customer executives
o Maintain an in-depth understanding of existing and developing cloud technologies
o Understand stages of cloud maturity in order to support customer across cloud adoption
o Possess experience in change and organizational management related to cloud adoption
o Work effectively with members of the sales, technical, and marketing teams
Basic Qualifications:
o 7+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale, IT or technical or engineering programs and projects
o 3+ years of experience in end-to-end experiences in leading complex, large public cloud transformation projects
o Superior written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese+English, including a demonstrated ability to influence C-Suite/VP leaders on cloud adoption
o Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
o Proven track record of being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects
o Effective written and oral communication skills spanning multi-functional teams spanning business and technical disciplines to quickly meet unique customer requirements
o The ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment, as well as a rapid work pace
o Robust understanding of key technology and market trends
o Deep understanding of software development/engineering life-cycle from conception to delivery
o Certification and working experience as a SCRUM master or leading a SAFe program
o Self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a dynamic and customer-focused environment
o Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
o Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, respond to customer needs quickly and effectively, and adaptive to change
o Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
o Formal leadership experience on previous roles for large IT organizations
o 7+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale, IT or technical or engineering programs and projects
o 3+ years of experience in end-to-end experiences in leading complex, large public cloud transformation projects
o Superior written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese+English, including a demonstrated ability to influence C-Suite/VP leaders on cloud adoption
