Job Title: External Sales - Business Development ManagerJob Level: SeniorJob Type: PermanentJob Location: DurbanSalary: Undisclosed Cost to Company (Per Month)Job Description:Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Development of New Business: Focus on New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, and approve rates for customers.Generate and follow up on qualified leads in line with company requirements.Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients by the Sales Team.Manage and retain client relationships, providing professional after-sales service, addressing inquiries, and conducting regular follow-ups.Sales Targets and Administration: Consistently achieve relevant product/monthly targets.Manage internal administrative processes and attend all meetings.Product Knowledge: Learn new product knowledge and enhance selling skills, communicating effectively to the Sales Team.Stay informed about competition services and markets.Communication: Ensure effective communication between Sales Teams and supporting departments at all levels.Respond to and assist Sales department queries.Maintain effective communication with colleagues.Requirements:Knowledge & Experience:Matric or Senior Certification equivalent.Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably in the Logistics Industry.Proven track record of success.Skills:Ability to generate sales leads and close deals.Communication and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure.Target-driven.Ability to operate within senior management/board level.Attributes:Customer Focus.Effective communication.Follow-up and initiating action.Managing work efficiently.Are you the person for the job?
