Partner Executive - Business Developer

**Role**:
The role of Partner Executive - Business Development at SUSE is a dynamic position that combines strategic partner management with technical expertise Latin America (LATAM). As the Sales expert for indirect sales of SUSE products and solutions, this position holds a crucial responsibility in managing, maintaining, and developing relationships with both large and midsize channel partners. This integrated role brings together the strategic and relationship-building aspects of a Partner Executive with the technical acumen of a Senior Solutions Architect, creating a well-rounded professional poised to drive success in the dynamic Latin American market.

**_ Focus Area: _**

**Partner Management and Development**:

- Oversee the management, development, and enablement of existing named partners, with a focus on SUSE Linux Enterprise and Rancher Solutions.
- Drive larger projects in collaboration with partners and the SUSE Product Sales Specialist team.

**Sales Strategy and Execution**:

- Lead SUSE through the named partner channel by orchestrating effective sales activities, programs, events, and marketing tasks, working closely with local distribution.
- Generate and manage leads with assigned partners, identifying new business opportunities for SUSE.

**Collaboration and Support**:

- Provide support to the SUSE Sales Team on partner-related sales activities to maximize revenue and market impact.
- Develop joint business plans with key assigned partners, encompassing financial sales targets, marketing plans, and resource requirements.

**_ Key Performance Indicators:_**
- Attainment of Quota for sales of SUSE Linux Enterprise and Rancher solution products.
- Establish trusted business relationships with partners.
- Make significant progress in generating new business within channel partners.

**_ Experience, Education, Skills, Knowledge: _**
- University degree in a business-related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional channel sales experience, preferably in IT/Data Center sales.
- Strong skills and experience in managing and developing existing partners, including collaboration with partner sales forces.
- IT industry background with an understanding of operations and internal processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent SUSE at the CxO level.
- Highly motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic.
- Experienced in working in matrix organizations, finding effective paths through the matrix.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Comfortable working in teams with a quick learning ability.
