**Your Role and Responsibilities**
An opportunity is available in the IBM Systems HR Partner team providing 1:1 HR client partnership to two band B executives in IBM Systems Technology Development and Enterprise Security. The role will provide an opportunity to lead the people strategy to drive business success in these client groups.

**Specific Responsibilities**
The HR Business Unit Leader creates and drives HR strategy for Technology Development and Enterprise Security. They are responsible for the local implementation of IBM HR strategy, addressing talent management, leadership development, technical pipeline, and driving a culture of high performance. They will enable transformation and be responsible for coaching executives and senior management on the engagement and culture within their business. The HR Business Unit Leader develops insight into the business strategy and uses their HR expertise to drive actions through the people agenda to respond to key business priorities. Dotted line direction is provided to HR Leaders in many countries, including those in Development Labs. This role has significant responsibility for retaining scarce HW skills (e.g. chip design) and continued growth of CISO executive team as they adapt to increasing security threats, and development of leaders required to support the growth in India.
- Build effective relationships with the leadership and other stakeholders, providing candid feedback which will help improve their impact
- Co-create and lead the HR agenda for the Technology Development and Enterprise Security in IBM Systems worldwide working with the leadership team on HR solutions in support of business priorities
- Enable the Workforce Strategy to ensure a balanced workforce with a focus on growth, rebalancing skills, redeployment, retaining talent, and technology development
- Build the right leadership capacity and capability with a focus on internal and external talent sourcing
- Advocating ways to strengthen diversity of representation and inclusion across the business and act as an ambassador in the creation of an inclusive culture
