**About the job**:

- The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Specialist to join us in São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will lead the growth and development of Red Hat's solutions working closely with a set of global system integrators (GSIs) in Latin America (LATAM). You'll discover and analyze our customers' business and technical needs and collaborate with GSIs’ sales and technical delivery teams, as well with Red Hat’s internal teams, to help customers invest wisely in the most appropriate solutions from the Red Hat portfolio, including Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat Application Services.As a Sales Specialist, you'll need to have excellent communication and people skills, as you'll be a crucial part of the first in-depth experience our customers have with Red Hat. You will listen to customers’ business and technical challenges and suggest various solution paths customized to each their unique circumstances. You will also build solutions during the presales phase and prove their feasibility and value to the customers through demonstrations of and coordinating proofs of concepts for our offerings. You will exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions to take and you'll be responsible for effectively managing your time.**What you will do**:

- Provide GSI presales technical support to the sales team and help them build quality technical proposals that will address customer business problems
- Lead customer and GSI conversations around business challenges for new strategic opportunities around Red Hat solutions, business value, competitive positioning, customer cases, product capabilities, and roadmaps
- Maintain relevant and current knowledge about products in your domain (features, updates, success stories)
- Understand the forecasts for the appropriate products, services, and training
- Guide a strategy based on industry knowledge, customers, and challenges and use this to help shape the account plan
- Position right sized solutions (subscriptions, services, partners) in context for the customer challenge
- Create growth beyond initial sale and deployment to scale and expand to other relevant products
- Coordinate with GSI teams and Red Hat Customer Success on delivery of proposed business value
- Capture business value (customer ROI) for owned opportunities by offering solutions based on Red Hat products and services, in conjunction with GSIs ecosystem
- Stay up to date competitive market knowledge and analysis, especially in managed services
- Quickly gain the trust of the GSIs’ account teams and with key customer contacts
- Communicate value, progress, and status of sales opportunities to all stakeholders; share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes
- Ensure that revenue quota, deployment, and service objectives are met while maintaining a high level of satisfaction among prospective and existing customers
- Learn about new technologies and how they can be applied to solve enterprise challenges

**What you will bring**:

- 8+ years of experience in a solutions sales role; 4+ years focused on enterprise platform, e.g., Ansible Automation Platform, Public Cloud solutions, Red Hat Application Services, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, etc.; experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Solid expertise within the enterprise accounts area
- Solid background in consultative customer engagement with major software or within the sales division software reseller
- Experience with partner account management with GSIs is a plus
