Senior Accounting Professional


The successful candidate will be a senior accounting professional who is responsible for the monthly closing and balance sheets of accounting in Brazil. This role involves working closely with different departments, including Accounts Payable, Legal, FP&A, Payroll, and HR. The team leader will also be responsible for ensuring that financial information is accurate and communicated efficiently to internal clients.


The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting or similar with active registration (CRC). Excellent knowledge of accounting rules and local taxes is essential. Experience with external auditing, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools is also desirable. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently to find best solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and laws
  • Provide support to junior colleagues
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or similar with active CRC
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting rules and local taxes
  • Experience with external auditing
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Office tools expertise
  • Fluent English
